The members of the School’s Internal Governing Body work collectively to perform a strategic role and carry out key functions such as: setting the aims and objectives of the school; setting targets and policies so those aims can be achieved, monitoring and evaluating the progress of the school.

There is a wide variety of expertise within the Governing Body at our school thus governors are a reliable source of challenge and support to the principal and headmaster.

There are two sub-committees of the Governing Body. The Finance, Personnel and Premises Committee is responsible for scrutinising the school’s budget, expenditure, Human Resources and the Curriculum Committee is responsible for scrutinising the school’s curriculum arrangements and levels of attainment across all years.
